Lost s04e01
The executives of EP took a vacation. It seems that with the money that gives them the place all together have gone away to some island of famous Greece for his homo-erotic inclinations. But since they are concientes of the importance of the beginning of the fourth period of Lost they sent to me this text message: SCRIBI SOME BOLUDEZ D LOST Q FROM HERE not PODMOS. What calls itself to work 24 hours.
It does not serve to do a summary of the chapter. It they all have already done, in blogs, route mail, by phone, route sms and even across the nicks of the msn. As example of the above mentioned is enough to do a photo of the by-names of my contacts: Como ejemplo de esto último basta con hacer una foto de los sobrenombres de mis contactos:
We have at least 3 persons who do direct reference to the events in the episode:
Plow they still alive?: It is the phrase that the mysterious lawyer him whispers to Hurley.
Did not it start with an eye?: Because the fourth period did not start with the eye of anybody
Oceanic 6: Appeal that they use in the flashfowards to call the survivors and/or rescued of the island
More and more doubts: It might work perfectly like a Lost spoiler but, in this occasion, it is a question of a friend who does not know that to do of his life.
The true thing is that the passion untied in the beginning of this new period left several evidences as regards the current ways of enjoying an entertainment, spectacle or work of art, it depends on the nomenclature that each one wants to use according to his tastes, ideas or country.
The first interesting point is a certain return to the collective enjoyment. In spite of the almost instantaneous possibility of unloading the series in the ambience deprived of our computers and of seeing it in solitude as if it was a question of the reading of a book, the people tended to meet to see the episode. I listened in a very popular Argentine radio that the personnel of a company met to 13:30h to see all together the chapter in a conferences room and that there, even, was place for some person who was happening over there (free and private movies).
Another interesting point is the access to the work. Casciari tells us that in France the chapter could be unloaded legally 24 hours after his premiere in the USA by € 1,99 and with subtitles include you. What he does not say to us is that, for the same reason, the principal groups of translation have stopped translating the subs of the series for the Frenchman. To this I am going to add that for € 7 per month there exists the possibility of unloading at the highest speed of the servants of Rapidshare so many series and movies like querramos. I know about the people that, snatched by the need to see everything itself, they subscribed to this service and unloaded Lost from the wifi of a spa of the Argentine coast.
It is clear that when the money brings in in game the borders of the legal thing and of the illegal thing they acquire another importance. And the disappearance of the geographical limits due to the virtual globalization complicates everything moreover. Let's think the following thing: someone pays a tent in a spa and has access to the local wifi (let's say one x money quantity for day of rent); from there he subscribes to rapidshare (€ 7) and unloads Lost while one asks for a banana fruit drink with milk (12 weight, let's say).
Also there exists the possibility of lowering the free episode for bitorrent, but in an area wifi public ésto is complicated and in this case the patience is inversely proportional to the desire of seeing the series. With this example I mean that the people who is employed at the spa are conciente of that the persons who get connected to the wifi are rubbing the illegality and this is his sale argument. I remember that once in Spain two men got connected from the path to the Mcdonalds wifi and put a cartelito who was saying “Arrest us, we are discharging”. While in Argentina it is almost normal to think “merchants“ that they sell in the trains cds recorded with music and unloaded movies. I neither justify one nor push other back. But it is clear that the world economic and legal system is still very far of adapting itself to the cultural changes through that we are living. And with the progressive increase of the speeds of connection and of the space of storage everything tends to be complicated more. The technology goes more rapid than the law.
Ah … and for the one that did not see yet it, here there is the streaming of the finished and subtitled episode.
